There is growing evidence showing that some chemotherapeutic agents employed for oncology treatments contribute to the induction of anorexia, leading weight loss and reduction muscle mass due effects treatment tumor, which may trigger cachexia syndrome. Owing complexity diagnosis body evaluation in these patients, objective this study was evaluate nutritional status patients submitted chemotherapy a greater than 5%. We screened 220 shortlisted 10 diagnosed with different types tumors assisted by Instituto Ribeirãopretano de Combate ao Câncer under who presented Anthropometric data such as weight, height arm circumference (AC) used calculation Body Mass Index (BMI). also Arm Muscle Circumference (AMC) Area (AMB) application Oncology Patient Global Nutrition Questionnaire. The results point out cancer anthropometric classification pre-diagnosis after beginning anticancer resulting from side volume food ingested. Gastrointestinal tract short-term when compared other tumors. suggest observed be related MFLOX FOLFOX protocols, addition intake (while maintaining good quality). These factors together lead life quality expectancy worsened patients’ prognosis.
